Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 11263 Registered: Dec-03 | yes other brands will work just fine. the peizo works in the car, but you'd be better off spending the money on a battery backed-up siren instead for under the hood in case someone cuts the battery cable. proximity is only useful for convertibles nd soft tops if you use power window modules, so unless you have a soft top or no power window modules, get a glass breakage mic instead. |

Gold Member Username: Tdeaton1021Near Tampa, Florida USA Post Number: 2202 Registered: Sep-04 | glass. i have one of those proximity things laying around and was thinking of using it with my 791xv. i also have a pain tweeter and a voice siren... but i have an SUV, will that proximity sensor be useless with it? i want something to beep if some1 gets close so they know it has a good security system and hopefully stay away. also if i leave my windows cracked... could this work? |
