It doesent matter who posted "nobody cares." i just need some input,i already got the L5s but how much louder will the L7s be,is it worth the extra money? P.S. both will be giving their full rms and in the same box. THANKS
huh? I don't usually even open most of this kind of thread, but anyway no way to tell. If you use the same car and same amp, it won;t really be any louder. the L7 can take more power, but then the output is going to depend on the enclosure, the car, and the amp you go with. there's no answer like "oh, that'll be 3dB louder!" pretty much due to lack of data.
you mentioned the full power, so about 750 watt to the L7.. it'll be considerably louder. same failure issues with all of the solobarics though. lead separation and slap, cone fractures, surround failure, etc.

Oh sorry bout that Glasswolf but thanks for the input
i couldnt tell the difference. They both get loud, but listen to glasswolf. The driver failure issues are real.
