i just got a brand jew JL Audio e series 800 watt subwoofer amp for $170.. Brand New. my primary goal is great SQ, but something that still gets loud. i was thinking two 12" Alpine type Rs dvc 2 ohm. or one 15" alpine type r dvc 4 ohm. i was also considering selling this amp and getting a RE SE and 500/1... what will be the best SQ setup around 500-1000 watt rms for under $600... sub+ amp (i am willing to sell amp if a better one is needed, kids around here dont know much aobut car audio so i can get at least 300 for it)
also how does the e series amps SQ compare to the slash series amps... also what are some other amps around 200-400 bucks and 500-1000 rms that produce clean sq... i appolige for all the questions... i am new to car audio and have only heard a few systems and i want the best advice to s loud clean sounding system.
will two subs hit lower then 1 sub before there it more surface area? also will 15s hit lower thetn 12s and 12s lower then 10s? if not then would it be okay to get one ten. or would 2 15s be the best
rovin thanx for your help... if i were to get 2 12inch w3v2s with this amp will it be okay to get a remote bass control and just turn it down so they are getting around 600 watts rms?
