Optidriven Silver Member Username: N2audio Lawrence, Ks USA Post Number: 656 Registered: Mar-04	Posted on Thursday, February 23, 2006 - 19:48 GMT Lanzar Optidrives are solid amps, and there are a couple vibe's and a Heritage that are decent. Unfortunately with the majority of the non-Optidrive stuff Lanzar felt it necessary to WAY over-rated them in power so for that fact alone most people lump them in with Pyramid etc. Even though they're generally fairly powerful amps for the cost. Legacy's so over-rated it's not even funny. Their usual 1000w amp is good for about 200 usable watts. Boss has some powerful amps, but again, unless you really study them and know what you're getting you often end up with a fraction of the power you thought you paid for. Your subs are dual 4's? I'd suggest a class D - something 800-1000w at 1 ohm. You should look into Hifonics. They have a few amps in that range that are very affordable. The bx1000d, 1005d, and the 1200 and 1205 aren't much more.
