Sup ppl just wondering if i got an Alpine type R with the amp i got now if it would sound alright for now till i get a better amp. I got a Power Acoustik 980 watt amp 560 watts rms in bridged mode. I figured i could put the sub in bridged even if its only 500 rms cuz ppl say Power Acoustik is over rated. So do you people think it will still sound pretty good?? And wut should i buy the dual 2 or 4 ohm sub?? The amp in bridged could handle 4 ohm. Thanx for all the help....

you will want the dual 2 sub to run it bridged, and if your going to use only 1 sub, then you can get a 1ohm stable amp to push it.

You can't run a PA 980/2 amp at 1 ohm. It would be over quickly. The dual 2 would allow the amp to be bridged with the sub coils in series for 4 ohms mono.
