both dont need to be satisfied for proper operation, but its best that both are connected, so the amp gets all the juice possibly available. Qbass is like Bass boost. Keep it low!

also 1 more question about the amp. In the book I got with the amp it says no bridgeing this amplifier. Is this the case or do they just say that so I dont blow the crap out of it?

I think he's referring to strapping. If the manual says it, you should probably follow it.
The manual also says to hook up BOTH grounds and BOTH powers.

speaker channels<< they are wired parallel on the inside. so you only need to use 1 channel if needed.

well I was confused because I thought it was a mono channel amp but it had 2 channels so I was just curious as to how to hook it up. I just use one of the channels and that will be good it was you're telling me correct?

Its still NOT 2 channels - its a MONO (meaning 1 channel) amp , its actually 2 CONNECTION TERMINALS !

They made 2 terninals so that u won't have 2 + or 2_ wires on a single terminal for convenience & so it'll look neater.....
