When i finished installing the amp and tucked the wires, i tryed to turn on my truck (1990 chevy astro)and it started to turn over then it would cut off.When i took off the power wire for the amp and reconnected the battery wire it started!!WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!!! PLZ HELP
maybe the power cord was grounded somewhere along the line or at the end.Did you have the wire cannocted to a amp?

yes it is connected to the amp.My battery is not a stock but my alternator is stock. when i start the truck it trys to start but fails after 2 seconds.

Sorry the battery and alternator are STOCK but my amp is only 340 watts (dual 2/1 channel)

i rewired every wire and it still has the same problem!! it trys to start but it fails but if i take the amp pwoer wire of the battery it does start!!PLZ HELP
