Also, if your cars lights dim at all, a higher gauge wire could help. I used to have 8 gauge wire ran to a 1000 watt amp and needless to say there were issues. So I changed it to 4 gauge wire and since then the lights haven't been dimming as bad. I think higher gauge wire helps the capacitors inside in the amp hold a current much better; thus less dimming in your lights. |
