Power rem. attached to a pos. 12 volt output?work?

is it possible to attach the possitive end of a 12 volt dc output to the power rem. cable on the amp and the neg. to the ground? wud that work 2 power the amp? plz answere with atleast a yes or no

you could but your amp would always be on and drian your car battery when its off. If your trying to keep your factory headunit just wrap the remote wire around one side of the radio fuse make sure you catch the part of the fuse where it turns on when the radio turns on not the side that is always getting 12 volts constant.

well sortove, i have it in my house, so i have a ac/dc converter attached to a wire that the ends were cut off so i have a + and - ends of wires... so what shuld i do now?
