Someone how my deh-770p is working without a ground and is causing an awful whining noise. I put my other cd player in and it needs the ground. im assuming the new cd player is grounding itself out somehow any suggestion on things to check?

Probably the RCA cables-which will cause damage. Or the metal cage might be touching a part of the car that is grounded.
