Silver Member Username: Goose5714Post Number: 122 Registered: Feb-06 | But do i trust ikesound???? I've heard some horror stories about refurbs people get from them... Someone was saying they doe 2400 at 2 ohms strapped with 2 but i find that hard to believe, if i had two strapped could i still wire them at 1 ohm with a single dvc 1 ohm speaker??? |

Bronze Member Username: ThunderforceNetherlands Post Number: 26 Registered: Feb-06 | when 2 amps are strapped and the load is 2 ohm, each amp sees 1ohm so the amp will give 1200w a piece so 1200+1200=2400w RMS @ 2ohm easy as that. If you have 2 strapped at 4 ohm they will see 2 ohm each, so 800+800=1600w RMS @ 4ohm |
Silver Member Username: Goose5714Post Number: 128 Registered: Feb-06 | Wait, so could i wire 1 dvc 2 ohm sub to two strapped orions, and have each amp see 1 ohm??? |

You should see my parts room.. (I literally have probably 30 feet of various lengths of 0 gauge, and easily 100+ feet of 4 gauge, but none in the lenghts I need.. all from setting things up different ways, and needing diff lenghts of wire, etc..) amps just layin there.. various dist blocks/other accessories I once used, when settling for something just until I could afford better... ugh. So much wasted $. |
