Gold Member Username: TdbdadrummerWellsburg, WV USA Post Number: 1290 Registered: Aug-05 | I'd take the Assassins over the Type-R any day. Or the SE works very well too. You really can't compare brands like RE and AA to Alpine in quality and power handling. Just by looking at the build quality strictly of the woofers you can tell they don't even compare. |

Bronze Member Username: Jarryd2018Post Number: 88 Registered: Sep-04 | well like i said, i can get the type Rs for 110 a piece for the 12s. is there anything better for that price? |
Bronze Member Username: Jarryd2018Post Number: 89 Registered: Sep-04 | I might have found a deal on some SEs. will the be noticably louder than the type Rs? |
Silver Member Username: JronPost Number: 144 Registered: Jul-05 | no matter how you look at it, the type r's are comparable to the Re Se's. upgrade to a better 12 like an eclipse ti, treo ssi, id max or something along those lines man, it's about 100 more, and you are saving trunk space. |

Bronze Member Username: Jarryd2018Post Number: 90 Registered: Sep-04 | if i can get these SEs for a decent price, Ill get them. what would be a good amp to match up to them? |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 5654 Registered: Jul-05 | 1200-1500 rms @ 1 ohm how much can u spend |
Silver Member Username: JronPost Number: 146 Registered: Jul-05 | not really a huge difference in either sq or spl to me. But a well built enclosure has a lot to do with it. |
Bronze Member Username: Jarryd2018Post Number: 91 Registered: Sep-04 | i can probably spend about 200 on an amp. ill get one off ebay most likely. what would be a good one to look for to power them? |
