I have 1500 watt subs..with a 1500 watt amp..I am going to hook both subs up to the amp @ 1ohm load which would give me 1500watts..What gauge amp kit do I need? Also, what capacitor could I use? I really know nothing about the size of the wires & the amount of power of Caps. Please help.

what subs are these?
what amp?

forget the cap.

if you have a true 1500wrms...4ga-2ga will be good.

also, if you wanna save some $ on power wire...get welding cable instead of car audio power wire. its alot cheaper...the only difference is that it wont look as nice.

stay away from Caps, they will not help you with dimming lights, upgrade your ALT as it is the heart of your system (upgrade may not be necessary)

But for 1500 RMS or MAX?...if max youd be safe with 4 gauge ...even 8 maybe
if its 1500 RMS, go for 0 gauge or 2 gauge....
