How to wire remote-wire in dual-amp setup

Hey guys:

I did a search in the forums and all over the 'net but could not find an answer to this question. How do I connect the remote power lead coming from the HU to two amps? Anybody have a handy schematic on how to wire two amps?

1) Do I wire it in parallel (2 wires heading back up to HU)?
2) Does this wire need to be fused? If so, what's the amp rating?
3) Most amp install kits have 18 gauge wire for this connection. Should this be upgraded?

This is probably a really obvious question, but if you're spending big bucks on the system you want to make sure that it works right the first time.

split the remote at end using a second wire to the other amp.

You can fuse it if you want. Usual recommendation is 1/2A. 18 ga is fine.

The way it's usually done is to just connect the remote wire from the HU to one of the amps, and a 2nd wire from that terminal to the 2nd amp.
