Anonymous | right setup would be the setup that can make the 2 15" kicker cvrs to hit 150+db |

Gold Member Username: CenusHicksville, Ohio Usa Post Number: 1261 Registered: Jan-05 | the only way your gonna see that high of spl, daily, mabey is with a SS box and 1500-2000 watts per-sub.and i'd reccomend getting the cvx instead of the cvr if you want to hit that high of spl#. |
Anonymous | i was going with the cvr cuz i can get them for $65(15")a piece, what if i add 2 more for a total of 4 15's with a kicker kx2500.1? |
Gold Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 2116 Registered: Mar-04 | yea...4 15" CVR should do 150dB w/ a lil testing and tuning. Try interchangable ports. (see my how-to guide in the subwoofers section) for spl in a jeep...try a port tuned to 42hz to start with. just test from there. chad, you talking about the vid of the van on my put-file? they did 153.5 that day. what windshield was already cracked though. they did 155.3db ~3 weeks later w/ a new glass. (6 brovox 12's walled, 1 orion 2500d per 12) |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindLos Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 2383 Registered: Oct-05 | yea thats the video i was talking about. if a setup like that did 155.3 then the 4 15 cvr is going to have a hard time hitting 150. you have to build a perfect box to even have a chance. |
