I finally finished putting my system together, but am having one small quirk I'd like straightened out. I have a 1985 s-10 Blazer and the front speaker cutouts are for 4x6 speakers.
My setup is as follows: -Alpine MRP-F240 4 Channel amp (40 wrms x 4) -Pair of Alpine SPS-46C2 (front speakers) -Pair of Alpine SPS-690A 6x9" 3 ways (rear speakers)
ok so the predicament is this. I'm tried to gear my system towards sound quality more than anything but I just can't get my front speakers being 4x6's to not be drown out by the 6x9's in the back. Any advice on this is much appreciated, but definately any that will just involve some adjustments instead of spending more money will be better haha. Thanks in advance

4x6 plate speakers in front and take the six by nines out of the back and put another set of round components in the front.
dont put 6x9 on lpf keep them on full or even high pass...lfp is jsut going to send them the smae freq. thats going to your sub...and its going to be pointless...maybe just lower the gain on the 6x9s...or mess with your fader on your HU
