Bronze Member Username: WarlokOrlando, FL USA Post Number: 20 Registered: Dec-05 | I'm on the market for a nice HU. I had my system hooked up at this place and suddenly my HU "Is BAD". Long story short, I need a new HU. I was thinking about the premier p960mp or the 860mp, for I own an old school DEX-p98r and I love it even though its old. My question is does anyone know if there is a sound difference in these 2 HU's. Specs look identical. I am open to suggestions on any brand or model (Sony not welcome). I am looking for outstanding SQ and not bass. Mp3 playback is a must. I could also go DVD. I welcome facts as well as opinions. This is what I have installed in my car at the moment so I will be lookin for a comparable HU, so suggest away: HU: Pending Speakers: MB Quart QSD 216 (Front) (6.5in w/ 1in Tweet) Diamond HEX S500s (Rear Door) 2- 12 RF H2 Amps: 2 ch Lanzar Opti-drive 100 4 ch Memphis st-1600 EQ: DEQ-7600 (The EQ is availible if I want to put it in, any suggestions ?) |

And whats the difference in that 24 Bit burrbrown converter that is in these radios versus others. Are they even an audible difference. Anyone care to technically elaborate on that one ? |
