is it OK to run 2 wires off of the battery for 2 amps? I plan on putting a battery in my trunk and was wondering if I did that would there be any need for a distrabution block ir could I run 2 wires off of the battery for 2 amps?
No reason you can't as long as they are the correct guage. A distrbution block would probly be easier since they already contain the needed fuses within. Instead of having to splice in a fuse for each power wire. You see where I'm going with this.
you can run two from the battery sure, but it's usually easier to run one larger wire to the trunk, then split to smaller wire at the amps with a fused distro block. that also helps protect the amps, using the fused style of block.
If you got alot of amps back there, or competing; then yes its better to run more than 1 run of wire. All runs must be fused properly. But as in your case, a simple Distrubution Block would work just fine. =D
yes you can, any distro block will be fine. Just watch the size of gauge they except. Make sure it will fit your use for it. Also make sure those lights are fused when u tap for distro block.
