Silver Member Username: AlteraudiousaConcord Post Number: 163 Registered: Jan-06 | well hate to break it to you but most of those companies on there don't allow internet auction style sales. Just to name a few, CDT, ED, Helix, Brax, USAmps, Crossfire, Avionixx is now ED, Illusion, Zapco,McIntosh, OZ Audio, Morel, Adire,Rainbow, RE, do I need to go on. If you do not sell at or close to manufacturers MSRP you don't be able to have any warranty on them. There are alot of companies who aren't dealers for what they sell but they have the money and ability to refund defects and returns. I'd first try and be a dealer or a reseller first. Ask Ikesounds what they require for a wholesale account. |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 5217 Registered: Jul-05 | ^^Yeah that is true |
Anonymous | You saying they wont let you sell them at all or they will let you but you just got to sell at the MSRP? |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 5220 Registered: Jul-05 | U can sell them but u will have 2 have ur own personal warranty |

Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 5237 Registered: Jul-05 | depends on what u sell from those companies subs low end amps middle of the road |
Silver Member Username: 420pimp2Post Number: 338 Registered: Jan-06 | Yea audiobahn and hifonics is lower end. You could probaly sell alot of auidobahn because they have alot of bling and people think there nice subs cause there pretty lookin. |
Anonymous | Any ideas of a name for a car audio store |
Gold Member Username: TjmutlowPost Number: 1394 Registered: Sep-05 | first off, unless your buying from the manufactures direct, alot of the stuff is cheaper then what your going to get it through a secondary distributoer for. i had my own small shop(not on ebay), but my cost on alot of the stuff was the same or more then what was on Ebay. So good luck... |
Silver Member Username: 420pimp2Post Number: 345 Registered: Jan-06 | contact some of the companys like aidiobahn or whatever company you wnat to order from and see if yous two can work out a deal if you buy in bulk. They'll probaly want you to sign contracts. |
Silver Member Username: 420pimp2Post Number: 346 Registered: Jan-06 | want^^^^ |

Bronze Member Username: ShowridesHartford, CT USA Post Number: 11 Registered: Feb-06 | First off AlterAudioUsa said most of what I was going to say. Those companies don't allow online sales. Also, the warranty stuff isn't true. Not only will they not let you have a warranty. They will remove you as a dealer and stop selling you their products. Also, there is something called MAP. Minimum advertising price. If you advertise below that such as selling on ebay for cheaper, they can actually take legal action. So before you go about selling things on ebay please do some reasearch else you will get yourself into trouble. or feel free to pm me with any questions and I can answer any questions you may have about it. |
Bronze Member Username: KravenbloodOhio Post Number: 32 Registered: Aug-05 | lol thats funny.. Alot of companies make you take a picuture of your store front..or they wont sell to you, audiobaun you have to have a 7500 dollar order every 6 months i think thats what they told me i cant remember, almost no company will sell to you if you tell them your selling on internet, and if they do you have to meet strict guidlines. All of them require you to have a vendors license. But there are some places that have items in stock for exapmle but not neccarily parts express{~~~ just for name sake but most items i found where close to what people are selling on ebay, and the few that wasnt wasnt worth the time. I use to go through a place called thewholesale house need a vendors license and what i bought from them was close to the price people sold on ebay. I tried to start a mail order catolog but too many places where being rude and unwilling. So next time i try it will be with a store front and ill deal directly with the companies instead of theses so called wholesalers lol but if you do find a wholesaler that you find has stuff cheaper than ebay and dont require a vendors license buy a load of it and sell as used that way you dont have to offer a warranty lol |
