I have a box for 2 12's that has a plexiglass front with 2 ports on wither side (2 on each side of the sub) my back seats fold down and i faced my box twards the front of the car so when i am driving i can see the subs, why is it louder when the subs are faced twards the rear of the car and the seats closed
physics, lol, all depends on the car and how the sound waves react in the path from the box/subs to you. low frequency waves are very long, so fireing foward, the waves "mature" beyond the windshield, where rear fireing adds distance to the travel path, bringing the point where the waves "mature" closer to you....
