New member Username: NoochPalm Beach Gardens, Florida USA Post Number: 2 Registered: Feb-06 | OK... i have 2 12' competition subs and its powered by a sony xploid 1200 watt amp, i know i know they ARE horrible. But my system was working fine for about two weeks and just yesterday the protection light cam on and guess what, no bass? well i have the REM ran into the fusebox on the radio fuse, i disconnected EVERY SINGLE wire that ran to the amp and even disconnected the batter cables. My ground is good and all of my fuses are good. can anyone of you experts please help me? |
Gold Member Username: TjmutlowPost Number: 1338 Registered: Sep-05 | if the amp is bridged, i would bet the subs have 2 voice coils, is it a mono or 2 channel. If the subs are single 4ohms and you have it bridged on a 2 channel, then that is prob the problem. |
