its a controversial topic - but alot of us here oversize slightly so that ur amp will not have 2 run @ full power & will function cooler . If ur jumpy about damaging/blowing stuff - then play it safe & just match the wrms .....
so if you turn the gain below the distortion level on an overpowered amp it could help keep the amp cooler and running more efficent? That makes sense to me but is that true?
