If you could get either subs 4 free which brand would you get and why,a RE XXX or a JL W7

RE and JL are my two favorite brands, but i usualy would pick RE bc of the price

but for free..
and if i could only take one sub and i just wanted massive bass

i would get the RE XXX
you can put more power to it

but quality wise..id take the JL..ever since a car show i went to when i was like 12 and heard JL audio..i knew they were very good. the W7 is probably the best sub ive ever heard

quality=W7

RE XXX because its cheaper and it performs just as well as the w7 if not better in sq and spl.

the XXX is close to the sq of a W7 but its not quite there yet...with the new ones who knows.

but there are alot of people that just dont like the way the w7 sounds.

i was actually thinking about doing the same...but 1st need to get one re 12.1 amp and a new alternator and run that for a while and then im wanting to get another sx and amp

I heard the RE SX has trouble hitting the LOW NOTES!!! That sucks... isn't that the key element of a SUB woofer!? I know the other notes matter too, but if it can't get low... I'd say that kinda sucks.
Apparently, it can get very loud, but can't hit very low frequencies in comparison to other subs in its class.
(correct me if I'm wrong - just many opinions I've read)
