Hi everyone.

I'd like to upgrade the head unit in my '97 Ford Mustang to something better. Here are the features I'm looking for:

Sirius radio capable
MP3 CDs
Hopefully looks nice
Sounds good with classical music
Around $300 or less

The current setup looks like this:

Factory radio/cassette player
Plastic Divider
Factory CD Player

Both are the same size.

I was looking at a Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP. I am wondering if this is overkill for my needs or if there is another HU that would be better for me.

The speakers in my car are factory standard, or possibly the factory upgrade. There are 2 nestled in by the side-view mirrors, 1 in each of the doors, and what looks like 2 seperate speakers on each side of the rear seat.

If there's anything else I can give that would help feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The Pioneer would be excellent...

However, in my opinion, Clarion has extremely good built in amplifiers in their head units. The DXZ945MP can be had for less than $300 on ebay-used and new.
