The SQ was really good, surprisingly good actually. The lowend lacked a little compared to the SEs, but that was expected due to box tuning and the sub (35hz, 2.5cubes). but it really sounded good, and LOUD, up higher. Very comparable in ouput to my 2 12" SE. I was very impressed with the output from a single 12". (we ran it off of my amp in my jeep, MB Quart RAA1000. he will be using a hifonics bx1205d, for the money he paid, I think it's a pretty good amp.)
both boxes look really well built, subs look good in em. haha the subs look so similar its amazing that the SX has the ability to get so much louder.. out of the 2 systems, which do you prefer overall?
I haven't heard the SX enough to know yet. He's putting it in his truck when his amp comes in, so I'll let you know. I really like the SEs though they get loud, go low, and extend up high... but I prefer single sub setups. We'll see
Joshua, I dont have them on hand but I believe it came out to be 32x16.5x13.5" (outside dimensions, LxWxH) and the port is 12x3 and is about 20 inches long. that comes out to roughly 2.5cubes and 35hz
today we put it in his truck with the BX1205d. First off, the amp is nice. I know a lot of people don't like Hifonics but for the price i think it is pretty good.
the sub is LOUD. that's about all i have to say about it
