I've personally heard the Treo's and can say that there definitly one of the best subs out there, I've also heard good things about RE and Eclipse, I was wondering if their's anything else up there with the big boys. Not alpine, you can buy that anywhere, although the type R is a good sub, can't hold treo, and from what I've heard RE or eclipse. Let me know some other top sub brands. So far I've got 1. Treo (#1 b/c i've heard it) 2. RE ( seen it, lol on a clip) 3. Eclipse ( heard good things) let me know what else to add and how you would order them... thanks spencer
I think a thread was started about this exact same topic a little while ago. You may be able to go back and search for it, and you will find many subs on there, ranging from the best to the worst.
yea, been busy with a couple other things. instead of buying a new sub i might buy a computer. then ill b on a lot. also my mom doesnt like it when i get on here 2 much
Personally, I feel JLs overall product line beats the crap out of RE. Sure, they cost more, but they also have a dealer body to take care of, which RE will have if they get any larger. Adire is an example, take a look at the prices going upward and upward as time goes on. JL started the same way RE did, the prices got higher because people would pay it. As far as RE, the XXX subwoofers were the only ones I was really impressed with from a SQ standpoint, but other than that, the rest is kind of average. XXX wasn't the best SQ sub I've heard either. RE comps I haven't been impressed with at all, nor the XXX midbass driver.
Treos are a bit more of a niche market, their better stuff is in the SPL arena, a lot like Digital Designs. They do make fantastic stuff.
