its a rockford fosgate amp rf x7 and its a mono 1 channle amp, but when u bridge the amp it goes into 2 0hms, the amp makes 1580rms at 2 0hms and probably half that at 4 ohms. if that helps? Thanks Paul.
I'm not sure what you mean by bridging. It's a single channel amp that cannot be bridged.
The amp produces 650w when connected to a 4 ohm load - and doubles its output power when connected to a 2 ohm load.
The only way you'd be able to get more power out of it is to add a 2nd 4 ohm sub to present a 2 ohm load to the amp for 1300w total, 650 to each sub, or buy a high power dual voice coil 4 ohm sub to replace your single voice coil 4 ohm sub.
now running two 4 ohms subs sounds good need a dvc sub realy but for now il have to put up with carrying 2 subs around in boot and having no room for shopping o well;-) thanks.
