" why would you recommend an overrated sub for a good system. besides they are not overrated. they can handle their rms power plus a little more. i had them hooked up to a kicker 1200.1 and it handled it without any distortion. |

Because alot of people have them, dont means they are overrated. Its a sub that fits alot of people different needs, and can be configured for different setups. " B- your right i dont have a type r, but do the rest of the people here have them? didnt think so! i was just at best buy yesterday and listend to it and + my friend has 3 12"s in a ported box that was designed by a college student that was attending a sound engineering school. so dont say that i havent heard a type r before!! im just sick of everyone talking about them. sure there a good sub but i would rather have something else is all im saying. id be much happier with the sub i have right now. |
