I have hooked up some subs, and they are not getting any juice, what am I doing wrong, I figured maybe I hooked up the REM wire to something other than what it is supposed to be hooked to.
if you amp isn't powering on - check power wire inline fuse, amps fuse(s). check connections at terminals. check ground connection, make sure chasis surface is clean, and that your ground wire's size matches or is larger than your power wire's size. if you have an aftermarket HU, sidestrip into the blue/white wire at the back for your remote wire. if you have a stock HU, good luck finding a switched power wire (clue: one of those wires behind yer stock HU WILL be switched).
read wires for amp turn on, it is either, all blue or blue/white, one turns the power antenna on. look for either amp turn on or system control tage on them or it is in writting on the wire.
