I know that this question must have been asked somewhere but I'm asking it again and I'm sorry: How do you properly set the soundstage for your system? I have a sony cdxm8815x, Infinity 6t3.7i front speakers, stock rear speakers, 600 max kenwood amp and 10 jl w3v2. All the base is coming from the back and I really don't want it loud. thanks for the help
soundstage is defined as having the sound appear to come from slightly higher than listening position, well in front of the listener, as if on a live stage. This is managed by speaker selection, crossover design, and speaker placement mainly, as well as speaker positioning/directionality.
Basically it comes down to speaker selection, crossover implementation, and installation.
