Silver Member Username: Killer44Ontario Canada Post Number: 311 Registered: Dec-04 | Im getting 2 10" Kicker CVR'S (either dvc 2 or 4) and im alittle stuck on which amp to get ive narrowed it down to a few (not the best but good for my budget), i was told that the cvr's could handle more then there rms(300), but i didnt go to much over and most of the amps i looked @ are known to have lower power ratings then they claim to have. #1-Audiobahn a8002t (120$-150$) 200rms x 2 @4ohms stereo 400rms x 2 @20hms stereo 800rms x 1 @4ohms mono(bridged) #2-Hifonics TX1005D (170$-180$) 1000 watts RMS @ 1 ohm 700 watts RMS @ 2 ohms 350 watts RMS @ 4 ohms #3-Hifonics BX1000D (180$-200$) 1000RMS @ 1 ohm 500RMS @ 2 ohms 250RMS @ 4 ohms [I do know that the hifonics amps (and audiobahn but not as much) put out about 70%-80% of their rated power, and i took this into consideration when looking at the amps] #4-Kicker KX600.1 (about 250$[refurb]) 600rms x 1@2ohms (most likely last choice, b/c of price and refurb) so after all that could someone tell me which one of these amps i should get, thanks in advance... |
