Wednesday, January 04, 2006 - 19:09 GMT one 13 w7 would get louder than one 15w3v2 but would cost more and require more power. if you want just 1 sub i would recommend the 13w7.

Wednesday, January 04, 2006 - 22:22 GMT personal experience. I am a big fan of all JL audio models but the W7 is a SQL sub and they are considerably louder than w3v2's i have 3 w3v2's and i know that 2 12 w7's would cream my subs. i trust that one 13w7 would be as loud as my 3 12w3v2's and you can't tell me one 15w3v2 is going to be as loud as 3 of my w3v2's 12's.

Thursday, January 05, 2006 - 09:31 GMT In an everyday SQL application in a typical enclosure, the W7 is the louder sub. In a professional SPL application (huge ported boxes, enormous power, high tuning frequency), the 15W3v2 will smoke the W7. The W7 just isn't inclined to dedicated SPL applications, nor was it intended to be.

Thursday, January 05, 2006 - 17:12 GMT " In a professional SPL application (huge ported boxes, enormous power, high tuning frequency)" i doubt most people would put that much time and effort into 1 15w3v2 to make it louder and for everday use like jonathan said the w7 would be louder.
