I've been looking at one eclipse aluminum (SW7124DVC-T4 12" Dual 4 Ohm) http://www.eclipse-web.com/sw7100/sw7124.html which I can get for about $175. I would run it off a ROckford Fosgate P3001 amp (actual output is about 390Wrms at 2 ohms). would I see a signifigant decrease in spl? eventually would like to get a second matched sub and a larger amp able to run at 1 ohm. rae the eclipse subs better SQ and splthan Infinity? I see that the Xmax on the eclipse is 1.2" compared to 0.49" for the Infinity I would think that would mean higher spl am I right? do you have other ideas in the same price range for sql? |
