Ok I have a Sony Xplod F-5710 XM ready deck and I just recieved an XM tuner and Smart digital adapter. I hooked up everything correctly I belive but when I switch to AUX as the source all that is displayed is the word AUDIO. I need to change the channel to 0 to get my device ID according to the manual but on the back of the package it shows the 8 digit XM RADIO ID. Can I register this number and will my deck then work with XM radio? Please help. Thanks
your deck should be reading the unit and it should be on the preview channel. You may need to go into the menu fuction of the radio and actually turn the aux on.
