TCAB Sub Boxes

Do they make good boxes? I'm currently thinking about purchasing a box for 2 alpine type R subs....Its gonna cost $275.....isn't this kinda of expensive?......should I go through with it? Thanks.

damn that box is going to cost more than the 2 type Rs. you can find boxes that will sound nice for much less than that. if you can build one that would be even better.

i was at their forum and the owner was talking about something like the boxes are designed so good that you can give the subs more than the intended rms.....is this really possible? and I really dont mind paying that much if it will sound that much better-------will it be that good tho?

I always thought that there boxes were jsut well built ported boxes. A sturdy box can make a huge difference compared to cheap, comercial boxes. I'm not dissing on their boxes, but all they are are well built, ported boxes.

alex have you built many boxes? if so some pictures would be nice. if you want to build boxes for people you gotta show them what you are capable.

not to bad for being 17. It's a 3.5 cuft box tuned to 31 hz. Souns awesome and it also is a lot louder than most kids systems :-)
