Silver Member Username: TjmutlowPost Number: 564 Registered: Sep-05 | what subs are those...model number if they are the dual 2ohm speakers then no, you can not wire them down to 1 ohm, and no, best to hook up all voice coils. You need dual 4 ohms speakers to load it down to 1ohm. |

New member Username: SouthsidePost Number: 5 Registered: Dec-05 | Thats what i thought, but i mean ive wired this all up, and it still doesnt work. Got the amp powered, i used 12 guage wire from amp to speaker box. Then the inside box it goes from that connection to the sub. The sub has the 4 connections 2 positive and 2 negative. When i turn on the car the amp powers up and then the sub doesnt put anything out. I checked it with a test light...and all connections seem to be good. Got any ideas? |
