Tuesday, December 20, 2005 - 00:41 GMT on some subs on-line, it shows a dB sensitivity, does that mean that it only goes up to that dB or that it can up to that and past it?

Tuesday, December 20, 2005 - 00:51 GMT that just shows how loud the sub will play with 1watt free-air. it really doesn't mean anything when talking about subwoofers.

Tuesday, December 20, 2005 - 00:51 GMT it does not mean how loud it will go.. it just a reading of how loud per watt a woofer will get. for example lets say you have subwoofer a with a 89 sens and subwoofer b with 83 if both woofers are feed equal amounts of power subwoofer a is likely to get louder asuming there in equal enclosures
