I only what to have one 12 sub, with ported box no bigger then 2-2.5cf Can i get base to hit hard if i spend 1000 on sub and amp?? I'd realy like for it to hit maybe 140db that be nice. Thanks again |
Silver Member Username: CenusHicksville, Ohio Usa Post Number: 809 Registered: Jan-05 | the re sx would probally be loudest of the ones listed, but its going to need a lot bigger box than 2.5cf, you could also look into the eclipse ti they are very good sql subs and only need about 700watts to get moving, and work good in small boxes. |
New member Username: Toxa21Chicago, Illinoise US Post Number: 4 Registered: Dec-05 | What about RE xxx? what kind of sq they got? where can i get1 and what amp i need to power it with I can just wait for litl longet and get nicer system |

Silver Member Username: CenusHicksville, Ohio Usa Post Number: 816 Registered: Jan-05 | your kidding me u would take a mt over a ti, granted a mt would probally get louder than a ti but the ti would kill it in sq, and i hope u have enough power to run a mt it takes at least 1500watts, and i hope u have a big enough alt. to keep that amp going. |
Silver Member Username: JohnnylemoineLaPlace, Louisiana United States Post Number: 572 Registered: Aug-04 | an sx 12 would not need more that 2.5 cuft i had one in a 2.5 cft box and a 2.25 cuft box tuned to 35hz and it was amazing, with a an orion 1200D pushing it at 1 ohm. he could deff get away with it in a 2.25 cft box. especially if he likes metallica |
Silver Member Username: CenusHicksville, Ohio Usa Post Number: 817 Registered: Jan-05 | ohh its the sx 12 i thought he was talking about the 15, anyway the 12 would work in that small of enclouser. but i would definatly look into the TI before the MT. |
