Hey, i just got some cash, so i wanna boost up my system in my car. i got a toyota carolla 4d. i want to put loud speakers in, and a subwoofer that can handle the bass when i wanna turn it up. so if you guys could throw out some names of good companys. also, the speakers in the front are TINY! and i have no idea what to do about 'em. i'm also interested in getting a subwoofer/amp for my car. any advice would help, thanks.
yeah, i've been looking at some packages on ebay and i have no idea if they're good or not...

those cheap setups are crappy quality. forget front speaker locations in that car. mount speakers in the doors. takes some cutting but any decent installer can do the work. the outcome will be much better. try some Infinity reference 5.25" or 6.5" coaxials in the front doors some matching 6x9" in the rear deck look at a clarion head unit for about $150 and be sure it has RCA preouts for an amp then you can go with a JBL mono sub amp and some kicker comp series subs in a ported box
hah, also, my method of playing music is, i have a 20gig MP3 player that i hook up to a tape adapter and play through a tape player, so i won't be needing a clarion head unit. the mp3 player boosts the sound a bit, with treble, bass, loudness. that's probably a crucial thing. forgot to mention, sorry
