ok total newbie question (sorry if its posted in the wrong place)
ok ive looked all over the net for help but couldent find anything
i want to replace the 2 speakers in the back of my car im not looking to change everything just get some good sound , i dont want to have to replace any wires and the head unit is a phillips 4 x 40 (i think) basically i havent got a clue about how to connect the new speakers i know which one i want but dont know anything about how to wire them up anyone know of an online guide with pics or anything like that? do i need to cut the current connectors off the wire coming from the car? how do i connect them and make sure theres no crakle or anything like that?
PLEASE help me im lost but the speakers in my car are awful i know its a stupid question too ask you guys with your amps and subs but everyone has to start somewhere :p
the speakers should come with directions a Haynes manual will detail replacement for your car or, have a shop do it for you. it'll take 30 minutes, and cost about $45
