I am a little confused

Anonymous	Posted on Monday, December 12, 2005 - 02:49 GMT I am running my amp in my house and i am using a 12 volt 1 amp power supply,and watts are amps multipied by volts so does that mean i am only getting 12 watts out of my 200 watt amp,WTF can someone explain to me about amperage
