I put both channels into the same inputs on the box, so i have 2 positive and 2 negative going into the same sub. Is that safe? Is that the best thing to do? Let me know what you think. Thanks |

I don't wanna spend anymore money, is there anyway i can just hook this one up a way that it wont hurt anything? |

Same with negative. Sorry if i sound dumb...i don't know much about this....So does this mean im running 4 ohm or 2 ohm from output on my amp??? |
Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 2498 Registered: Dec-03 | it means you're running it incorrectly and causing damage. |
New member Username: Gssc14Post Number: 4 Registered: Apr-04 | Alright thanks...Should i just run one channel to the one input in my box and leave it at that? How can i run it with the one sub to not cause damage?? EEEK...i will go pull out my REM right now...lol!! CRAP! Thanks... |
Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 2512 Registered: Dec-03 | you should get a mono amp if the box only has one input or get a stereo amp and bridge it to one channel if its a 4 ohm box |
New member Username: Gssc14Post Number: 5 Registered: Apr-04 | Why does the amp specs say like: RCA Output Low Pass Only 2 Ohm Load 200 w x 1 4 Ohm Load 100 w x 1 Dynamic Power 14.4 VDC 2 Ohm Load 310 w x 1 4 Ohm Load 155 w x 1 If it cant go to one channel?? |
