Sunday, December 11, 2005 - 00:47 GMT I have a reg cab silverado with the max size for a box being 57"x10"x16" or about 4.5 square feet. What would be the loudest subs for $400 total. I have 2 kicker 1200/1 amps and can get a custom box for real cheap. Should, I get 4 CVR 12's for $300 in a sealed box, 3 L5's in a ported box, 2 L7 12's in a ported box. I could also fit 1 15" l7 in a ported box or even 2 l7 15" in 2 sealed boxes or 1 odd shaped sealed box. So, let me know what would be the loudest for the price? Thanks Brad

Monday, December 12, 2005 - 02:07 GMT I think the 3 L5's 12's will outdo the pair of L7 15's, but you won't be able to run both of those amps to the 3 L5's unless they're strapable

Monday, December 12, 2005 - 04:09 GMT get a 15" MT from the RE sale, dual 1 ohm coils. Put one amp on each coil. Ported box around 35-40hz. It will blow you away.
