Hiya guys

as ive ended up with a 4ohm 12" sub and a 2ohm 1500rms mono amp i am thinking of buying a 10" so i can run 2ohms from 2 speakers to use all of amps power.

my 12"sub is rated at 1500rms so pritty lowd its an atomic apocalypse sub, if i get a 10" hole cut in my 12" box and run the two togther in that enclosure will it sound plop, i want a 10 and 12 so 10 can hit punchy notes and 12 do its deeb bass lines.boot space is limited thoe.
Thanks for any advise.

would the 2 differnt types of subs fight against one another due to having slightyly differnt frequencies if they were in same box?

would i have to have both the 10 and 12 in seperet sealed containers to stop above if this is what would happen?

thanks

its not good to mix the sizes of subs because they will not hit the same frequencies. no matter how much you tune the speakers it will always sound a little off. Mixing brands of speakers does the same thing.
