Does the size matter and what is the ASV and 4 Layer mean? Also do you know what this means? THD @ 1 Watt, (4 Ohms) 0.30% Signal-To-Noise Ratio Below Rated Power Output 100Db Frequency Response 20Hz To 250Hz (+/-3db) Input Sensitivity 300Mv To 5.1V Does anyome know how the subs create the bass, if a 15" push's more air then why are some 15" subs louder then others if the others have thicker foam and move more? I was told that it is the amount of air moved and a ported moves air in two places. Also if the magnet has a lot too do with, can you add more powerful magnets for increased power? Why does the size of wire matter to an amp if the Sub is only connected to the 12 gauge - 16 gauge wire? Then if the Amp has 8 guage speaker wire terminals, then why does it matter if NO sub has bigger then 12Gauge wires after the subwoofer terminal? When is 0 gauge or 4 gauge to big for a compacitor or what size farad would you know need? So if anyone can answer any of these, teach everyone who see's this! I really want to know all of these answers? |

NoLimitSoldier Unregistered guest | im gettin 2 Audiobahn AW1206T 12" Subwoofers they are both dual voice coil and 4 ohm. they RSM max at 1100 watts, i need a high powered AMP and i can't find anything that sound like it and push good enough. i need to find an amp within $1,000.... can anyone help me? or should i just go with 2 amps? |

Your speakers will be louder with this amp then mine are with this amp because my subs can only go down to a 2 ohm load and yours a 1 ohm. This amp can blow those subs if turned up all the way! I can get it for you for only $300 shipped! Its better then the boss 4000watt and 1200/1 kicker. (I have had all of them) It has 0 gauge terminals and is huge 10-5/8"W x 2-7/16"H x 18-3/4"L". I have owned or tested all of these amps and the planet audio TT-2250D was by far the best! The VX-2200D is even better then that amp, it is the new Planet audio amp. That TT-2250 weighed 30lbs, that a lot for an amp, although that has very little to do with it. |
