Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 03:42 GMT i was wondering what the RMS power and what the Ohms is specifically. Never got a clear understanding of those two...the interfire RMS power is 225Wx2 and the hifonic is 900Wx1 at 2Ohms and 450Wx1 at 4Ohms

Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 04:54 GMT did your friend only have that one sub? or did he have a pair? most likely if that was the only one it might be a 2ohm. if he had a pair then it might be 4ohm. that is just my opinion.

Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 05:13 GMT Take the sub out and it should have it in written on the back, probably in the model number like 122D2 or 122D4 or something like that the D2 meaning dual 2 ohm. If it doesn't have a label on the sub buy an ohm meter from Wal Mart for 10 bucks and check the resistance on each coil, they will run out slightly lower than what the sub is (4 ohm will show up as 3.6 or so 2 ohm will show up as 1.8 or so).
