How do you figure out the final impedence??

Silver Member Username: RhasslerGilford, NH Post Number: 435 Registered: Dec-04 | I know you can go to websites like jlaudio.com and such and just type in the the info on the subs to get the final impedence, but when dealing with quad voice coils or like dual 1.7 or whatever lol how do you figure out the impedence? Like when you have more than one or a bunch of subs connected to an amp, whats the formula for the final impedence, anyone know? thanks!! |

If I were to wire one dual 2 ohm speaker paralellely (hmm dunno if thats a word lol) that would mean 2(resistance)\1(speaker)=2 ?? ... but 1 dual 2 ohm speaker wired in paralell results in a 1 ohm resistance. Where did I mess up lol |

Sorry I was taking into account speakers with just one voice coil. |
