Wednesday, November 23, 2005 - 05:54 GMT Hi guys i was wondering how would i wire up my dvc 4 ohm alpine type S subwoofers.i currently have a hifonics brutus BX1500D(thanks chauncey). i want to hook it up the safest way as possible but with the most bang.I know the amp is way to powerful for those alpines so ill probly have to keep the gains down.

Wednesday, November 23, 2005 - 06:13 GMT i would connect them in series-parallel to a 4ohm load. i believe that amp is 500wrms at 4ohms. with a 1ohm load you would really over power them.

Wednesday, November 23, 2005 - 15:26 GMT just connect the subs like the first picture. aftere that take the positive from each sub and the negative from each sub and connect it to your amp.

Thursday, November 24, 2005 - 03:57 GMT yes only 1 will be used unless you do each sub seperate and then bridge it going into the amp take the 2 +'s and the 2 -'s and go to the amp its the same thing but you will use bot terminals. I would only do it this way if there is a divider in your box.

Thursday, November 24, 2005 - 14:01 GMT if you have a divider then do as james said. do each sub separately and bridge it going in to the amp.
