Hopefully someone here can help me. I have a Sony Mini Disc player with 4 outs which currently drive standard speakers (2 front 2 rear). Is there a simple and cost effective way of adding a (single?) subwoofer for a bit more bottom end WITHOUT having to go for a seperate power amp ?
You can buy a powered tube for not much. Then you have the sub, box, and amp all in one. It wont be as good as a sub in a box, but it will be better for the cost.
Hi. I have a pioneer stereo without an amplifier. I want to add in a subwoofer. Is that possible without an amplifier? I dont want to spend much on the stereo. Or is there any way that I can increase bass without a subwoofer?
