I am planning on getting the regular Kappas because they are cheaper and I heard they sound awesome. Some people recommend that I look at the perfects but I have heard some people say they are too bright. For the extra money are the Perfects worth it?

I am leaning towards the regular Kappa's because all the reviews I am reading say that the Perfect's are too harsh.

I don't have the Kappa's but I have the Reference 6000cs. I also thought they were too harsh. But then I dumped the crappy passive x-over's that came with it, for a Clarion 3-Way. Rather than having the hi-pass crossed over at 5KHz on the tweets, I moved it up to 8KHz. Sounds much cleaner and softer. The only disadvantage is you'll need another amp, but the SQ is worth it!

Infinity is a very good brand. the highs are very good on the perfects, but bad bass response. perfects are worth the money
